Expect some scattered showers around Saturday into perhaps Sunday Morning with amounts generally 0.25” or less.  This system will dry out some as it crosses the Blue Ridge and will cause less precipitation than initially thought.  Mountain locations will more than likely see some snow showers above 2,500’ and some accumulation is possible but no more than 1 or 2” is expected.  Expect cooler than normal temperatures through early next week.  Late next week is when things will get more interesting.  I am still watching the system that COULD bring some wintry weather into the Upper Southeast for late next weekend.  I will go into more details about what to expect in the subscriber update.  Not a subscriber?  Join today and get earlier email updates than posted on Facebook.
