Temperatures will be cooler overall in the upper south with a hybrid CAD present. Most areas in the southeast will see a warm up heading into Saturday and Sunday but cooling off again behind the next cold front for next week. There is even a chance for some areas to get their first frost threat of the season. We will provide a map of the areas that we think have the best chance of frost in the southeast in our member update. Expect some scattered showers today and possibly into this evening. Not everyone will get these showers and they will be widely scattered in nature but the clouds should hold temps down a bit. We really do need the rain though as some parts of the area are slipping back into a slight and even moderate drought as shown in the graphic below.
