We will not be in the office from Friday through next Monday and wish everyone a safe and restful Labor Day holiday.  So, what do the temperatures and weather for Labor Day weekend look like?  I am expecting normal to slightly above normal temperatures with increased chances of afternoon showers and storms for most of the region.  The driest areas at this time appear to be Central SC and East-Central GA.  The wettest areas seem to be Western/Northwestern NC and Northwestern/Southern GA.  The Blue Ridge may rack up 1-2” during this time, so keep that in mind while traveling.

The quiet pattern of the past 10-15 days is about to come to an end.  Our previous forecast for the hurricane season to ramp up is about to happen and very quickly.  Become a member and you will get a much more detailed forecast on where this will occur and how it may affect your weekend travel plans.  Many other benefits as well.  Click the learn more button for more information or simply become a member and get this information delivered via email.
